Born in New York City and raised in Westchester, Jessica studied filmmaking at The School of Visual Arts and graduated from Eugene Lang - The New School with a concentration in Cultural Studies and Media. It was during this time, while working at music venues on the Lower East Side, that she began photographing her environment. Jessica’s work has been featured in The LA Times, The New York Daily News, Bust Magazine, Rolling Stone Italy, and Billboard Magazine (USA and Japan); it has also been the subject of numerous group and solo shows throughout the city. She combined some of her photography work with her writing by developing a musician profile series on Trip City, a Brooklyn art salon site created by celebrity photographer Seth Kushner and Emmy award-wining artist Dean Hapisel. Expanding on her series, she created a blog that focuses on artists in New York City called OF NYC. Some of her past subjects include actor Michael Pitt, fashion designer Rachel Antonoff, and musicians Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth of Tom Tom Club (formerly The Talking Heads). Recently, she has expanded her fashion portfolio. She was featured in Teen Vogue, as a part of their Girl Gaze project, which focuses on female photographers. She currently tests with a variety New York City modeling agencies including Click, ReQuest, DNA, Red, and MSA.
